This sale has been in the making for about 5years now……. I started out selling furniture to some wonderful shop owners & when their place closed I decided to setup my garage in town as a shop & sell from there. In that time, I read an article in Country Living magazine about a woman who hosted barn sales on her property & I started dreaming of a little bit of land I could call my own. I sold from my garage in town for 4 years all the while scheming plans & annoying all my friends with talks of sales & farms,even trying to borrow barn space,hahaha.(You all know who you are) Anyways we eventually put our towny house up for sale & purchased this farm.
It was turn key & I fell hard the very moment I walked throgh the door. We love it here & I feel so blessed to be the current keeper of this special place.
last summer We hosted 2 sales here which were amazing but alot of work. I had asked some people to vend here with me but it didn’t pan out. So this year I wanted to have one BIG sale. I started asking around in march to see if anyone was keen & I had lots of takers. I admit that throughout the summer season I haad a ton of reservations,wondering if anyone would come,if it would be worthwhile for the other vendors,would it come together………
Well,Saturday was a huge success!!!People came,the vendors were amazing,we did it!!
Midsale I looked around & people were smiling,lounging around,children had their sticky little mitts buried in the chicken nest boxes looking for eggs. There was so much love & enjoyment in the air,it was brilliant. A final destination was reached……. as each new person walked onto this farm a culmination of 5years of dreaming came true,it was epic,indeed. So many memories were made here this weekend & I can only wish that each year will bring many more.
Thankyou from every corner of my heart to all who vended & especailly those of you who decide to attend a tiny farm sale in the middle of nowhere!!!!

Caroline also sells her wares at the Moss street market. Isn’t her stall so sweet & inviting. She prints on organic fabrics & uses non-toxic waterbased inks,too. Come out this saturday to the farm & meet her, she just happens to one of the funniest people I know!!! Goodnight good people

I really really really wanted to keep this for myself but if I kept all the things I loved there would be maybe 2 things in the sale…… So luckily I am being TOTALLY rational & only keeping 1 of every 3 items I love……which leaves tons for the sale. Note to self~ do not collect animals like you collect furniture or the SPCA will come. Luckily there isn’t a furniture SPCA or I would be a #1 offender,hahaha
